thats neat how the dogs toned down colors blend into the black and white so well, it does stick out, but not intrusivly as some people will mess up on when they do photo manips like this

That's great my friend ! A hiding dog as if it was camouflage. You were right not to put more colors on this one, it would have loose it's hiding thing.
